Services and Activities AvailableWe provide at least 3 annual events per year for young people to get involved in. These include:• Anti Bullying Week (November) - Project based competitions – poetry, dance, drama and so on – raising awareness of the impact of bullying. • Local Democracy Week Elections (October) – A democratic process to elect young people onto the Rutland Youth Council and United Kingdom Young Member of Parliament • National Takeover Day (November) – Themed event looking at involving young people in decision making • Young People’s Celebration Event – Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Fund combined with the Lord Lieutenant Award celebrating young people’s achievements across the county • Other issue based events such as music, sports and arts. |
